Academic integrity

Homework, labwork

While students are encouraged to work together on homeworks and labwork, each person's homework or lab paper should represent his own work. Homework and lab papers should not be copies of one another.

If copying is suspected, a warning will be given to the students involved in the first instance. If a second instance occurs involving the same students, the homework papers will not be accepted for grading.

Exams

A student who has been found to cheat on an exam will receive a 0 for that exam.

General

We really shouldn't have any problems in this area in this course.

If they do arise, however, they will be handled strictly in accordance with standard, pubished University procedures.
