Problem 3 - reciprocal space & Ewald
The representation for a hypothetical system in reciprocal space is:
a series of concentric spherical shells, all 0.20 Å/\(-1) thick, separated by a distance of 0.10 Å/\(-1); the first shell is 0.40 Å/\(-1) from the reciprocal space origin. Also, the scattered intensity is everywhere equal.
Make a plot of the scattered intensity vs. 2theta for a conventional theta-2theta scan. CuKalpha radiation (wavelength = 1.542Å). Measuring the scattering angles from a plot is probably the easiest.
Problem 4 - correlation
(Roe, problem 12)
Problem 5 - more correlation
(Roe, problem 13)
Problem 6 - still more correlation
(Roe, problem 14)
